Please take note of the UPDATED ARENA PROTOCOLS AS OF MARCH 1/2022

Proof of vaccination is no longer required to enter the arena and capacity limits have been removed at all indoor public settings.

  • COVID Screening questions will be posted at entry doors and each person entering the facility must actively screen themselves

  • Please do not enter if you are feeling unwell
  •  Every person in the arena is required to wear a mask or face covering that covers their mouth, nose and chin, with limited exemptions. Exemptions include children under 2 and those who cannot wear a mask for a medical reason and/or those participating in recreation programs

**No dryland training will be permitted in common areas of the facility.

ALLIANCE Hockey has released an updated Return to Hockey Plan specifically for ALLIANCE Hockey Participants for the 2021-22 season. This plan also includes the UPDATED VACCINE POLICY.

KEY POINTS:

The Vaccine Policy refers to all players, coaches, officials, staff and volunteers.

At the time of this policy, all players in the birth year of 2009 and before are considered eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccination.

ALLIANCE Hockey is NOT extending the requirements of this policy to spectators, including the parents or guardians of players, at the present time. However,  a vaccination requirement for spectators may be imposed at any time by the owners/operators of any facility used by the League or any of its Member Associations.

Eligible participants will require proof of having received their first dose by September 17, 2021 

Participants that have been granted an exception with accommodation must show proof of a negative COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Screen at least 24 hours prior to each sanctioned ALLIANCE Hockey event/activity to their Member Minor Hockey Association. Testing is at the expense of the participant. A negative COVID-19 test will be considered invalid after the 72-hour period and a repeat test is required for continued participation in ALLIANCE Hockey sanctioned events.
All COVID-19 vaccine exemption request must be submitted to Alliance.
Any persons wishing to request accommodation can complete and submit the below CREED/RELIGION ACCOMMODATION or MEDICAL ACCOMMODATION form.

CREED/RELIGION ACCOMMODATION

Request for CREED/RELIGION ACCOMMODATION regarding mandatory vaccination for participation in ALLIANCE Hockey-sanctioned hockey activities: 

Any affected person who is unable to be vaccinated for substantiated medical reasons and/or on grounds protected under the Ontario Human Rights Code may request an accommodation.

By submitting this form, you acknowledge that you are seeking a creed/religion accommodation to ALLIANCE Hockey’s COVID-19 vaccination requirement.
