Coaching is a fantastic way to get involved and make a difference in the lives of our local youth with a passion for the game!
-
Skill Fundamentals:
Emphasizing core skills like skating, passing, and shooting provides a strong foundation for all players.
-
-
Coaches should reward hard work, hold players accountable, and instill values of fair play.
-
-
Teach and model respect for teammates, opponents, officials, and the game itself.
-
-
Foster a sense of unity and that the team comes before individual interests.
-
-
Help players and parents maintain perspective, focusing on the effort and enjoyment rather than just wins and losses.
We are in need of coaches and trainers for both House League and Select Hockey that are willing to do the required training and certifications as required by Alliance and the OHF.
