  1. Not all officials that wear the GREEN ARMBAND are new to refereeing! It can also just identify a minor aged on-ice official.  They are required to wear the green armband, regardless of how long they have been officiating.                                                                            

  2. BCHL does not have it's own Referee's!  All minor hockey associations within Brantford use the Grand River Officials Association.  They are an independant organization that hires and trains referee's as per Hockey Canada policies and guidelines.  All games in each minor hockey organization are assigned officials by GROA.

  3.  Our concession stand is now called The SIN BIN!  We also carry hockey tape and laces!! 

  4. The Sin Bin is open every day of the week except for Tuesdays.

  5.  SUPER SATURDAY IS COMING UP SOON ON MARCH 28/2026!

  6.  Our BCHL AGM will be held on Tuesday, June 16/2026 at 6:30 pm in the Lions Park auditorium and we would love to see you there!  Please contact [email protected] if you would like to join our team!

  8.  Our BCHL U11 and U13 Select teams came home CHAMPIONS from the Kingston Canadians Tournament this February! Congratulations to all!!
