Congratulations Jacob Alway!
Submitted By Natalie Ellis on Thursday, February 14, 2019
One of our own was honoured last night at the Brantford Sports Council Awards banquet held at the Brantford Golf and Country club.
Jacob Alway was awarded the Adrian Scherders Memorial Award for Sportsmanship and Dedication.

He was nominated by the Brantford Youth Flag Football Association for his support as a teammate and official and recognized for his work with BCHL as a player, timekeeper and on ice volunteer with Little Saints. He has also contributed to minor sports as a junior coach for the Central Baptist Church.

Jacob is an incredible young man and volunteer whether he is on the ice or a field. We are very proud to have him on our team! Keep up the great work Jacob.
Jacob and family also took home some great door prizes donated by local sponsors.
One of the themes of the evening was that with hard work comes luck. This is certainly true for Jacob. Congratulations from all of us at BCHL.
